Tudor Heritage Black Bay
Wow. Modeled after the 1954 Tudor Submariner, the Heritage Black Bay diver features gilt markers and hands as well as the old “Self-Winding Rotor” text on the dial. I also like that Tudor is playing up the "snowflake" hands, perhaps most well known these days from the company’s reference 9411 watch. For those who aren’t familiar with the brand, Tudor was essentially introduced as a little sister to Rolex, featuring Rolex cases but ETA movements (not in-house). They’re not available in the U.S. though — you’ll have to take a trip up to Canada for yours.
For more information and pictures, visit Tudor’s website. A detailed write-up of the Black Bay can also be found at Hodinkee.
